4:37 AMUnknownThe project started in November 2007 during the reign of Tuanku Syed Sirajuddin Jamalulail as Yang Dipertuan Agong (Supreme Head) of Malaysia and officially opened in November 2011, just before the 14th Yang Dipertuan Agong Tuanku Abdul Halim were crowned. 5 main areas which is placed at the Main Complex-The Grand Lobby, Balairong Seri (Throne Hall), Bilik Singgahsana Kecil, Banquet Hall Pre-Funtion Area and Arriving Hall were adapting the concept of CLASSICAL GRANDEUR but with the touch of Malay Traditional features especially on the pattern of stone floor (songket pattern), doors design, Throne design and Malay carvings pattern. Some of the lighting were also custom design especially for Balairong Seri and The Grand Lobby that try to used well-known shape and pattern from Malay World such as Bangau Perahu.
